The amount of help and support I’ve experienced, from Europe all the way to South East Asia, is stunning. That being said, it is impossible to list all the people individually (in most cases I never learnt their names), but I’ll do my best to list as many as possible

• Thank you, truck and pickup drivers, supermarket clerks of Iran, for showering me with water melons, drinking water, figs, candy and other gifts during my strenuous travels in the (hot) Summer months of Ramadan last year
• Thank you, Aziz , for helping me and vouching for me during my Turkish visa extension in Antalya
• Thank you, Ahmet and Ece, for a great time in Istanbul, tips and many memorable moments together.
• Thanks to all the kids in Tajikistan, Nepal, who always come running and shouting “Hello” when us cyclists go by, making us smile ear-to-ear
• Thanks to the local man in the cafe in Milano who helped me recovering my phone that I had lost hours earlier in the streets
• Thanks to the unknown local in Turkey who drove after me to bring me my keys that I had dropped at the gas station without even realizing it
• Thanks to all my Warmshowers and Couchsurfing hosts, or locals I met on the streets and highways, who cooked for me, invited me to stay in their homes
• Thanks to all spiders and tigers for not causing any (physical) harm to me!
• Thanks to my brother, for visiting me, supporting me with supplies, helping me out with administrative things
